Caring for your cane conservatory dining furniture
All Just Dine Furniture is individually hand crafted in South East Asia, using the finest quality natural materials and standards of design. It is important that you remember that as a natural product, cane furniture is subject to variations in shade and colour and will have unique characteristics that make each piece individual. You may also notice that your furniture will appear to creak slightly at times. These are not flaws but part of its natural beauty.
Cane care and maintainance
Having purchased your furniture, you will no doubt wish to protect the investment so that you may enjoy it for years to come. We would like to offer you some useful hints to protect your furniture’s longevity:
If your furniture is to be placed in a conservatory, we recommend that you move it around periodically so that all areas of the suite have equal exposure to the sun. You may further protect your cane from fading, by installing blinds or using throws to reduce the exposure.
For day to day cleaning, simply wipe your cane with a soft, slightly damp cloth. The occasional use of furniture polish will also help to keep the cane looking at it’s best. DO NOT use benzene, thinners, abrasive creams etc.
When moving your furniture, please ensure that you lift it. DO NOT drag the furniture as you will risk splitting the cane.
By turning your cushions regularly, you may ensure that the inevitable sun fading of the fabric will be as even as possible
